Term 2 Update 18.4.2020

Dear Parents/Caregivers

Yesterday the WA Government made an announcement in regards to WA schooling arrangements for Term 2.

The full details of the announcement can be found at this link :

https://www.mediastatements.wa.gov.au/Pages/McGowan/2020/04/Soft-Term-2-opening-for-public-schools-as-part-of-COVID-19-response.aspx

Holy Rosary School is currently making arrangements for Term 2 depending on how parents have responded to the text sent this morning, and how many students will be attending school for the first 4 weeks of term.

Thank you to all parents who have replied so far, as this will really help us plan for the start of the term and ensure each of our students receives the best education during this time, whether they are learning at home or at school.  If you change your mind, please feel free to email me at yvette.clifton@cewa.edu.au or call me on 0409 533 651.

Learning will commence for Term 2, either at home or at school depending on your choice, on Wednesday 29thApril.

Children will receive the same curriculum whether they are at home or at school.

Whatever you choose as a parent, all of the staff at Holy Rosary will work hard to ensure your child is not disadvantaged in any way.

We will send out more detailed information about learning arrangements for Term 2 by this Wednesday afternoon, 22ndApril.

A text will be sent with a link for an online Webex Q&A for parents with questions for Thursday morning at 10am for anyone who would like to discuss how we can provide the best outcomes for all of our kids at this time.

In the meantime, please feel free to call me on 0409 533 651, or email me at Yvette.clifton@cewa.edu.au if you have any concerns or questions.

The staff and I would also like to thank those parents who have sent us messages of support and appreciation in these uncertain times.

I know these messages of support are even more appreciated by those staff members who are working up here under the strict travel restrictions preventing them from visiting their families and friends in other parts of the country.

Once again, thank you to all in our community for your ongoing support in assisting Holy Rosary to provide the best outcomes for all our students.

Best wishes

Yvette Clifton
