Dear Parent/Caregivers,
This Sunday 7th November, our Year 6 students will be receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation. The celebration will be held at 9:00am in the Holy Rosary Church. All families are invited to attend this wonderful occasion in the faith journey of the 10 candidates.
In 2022 we will not be issuing booklists. As part of your school fees the school will provide your children with their books and stationery needs. This also includes a one off pencil case that will remain with the student throughout their time at Holy Rosary School. If you have any questions regarding the booklist, please contact me.
As I mentioned in last week’s newsletter we will be having a Pupil Free Day on Monday 22nd November. The purpose of the day is for staff to complete CEWA requirements and prepare for the start 2022 school year.
During that same week we will be closing the school at 12:00pm in preparation for an afternoon/evening of Parent/Teacher meetings. More information will follow.
The School Advisory Council (Board) AGM will be held on 18th November at 6:00pm in the Multi-Purpose Room. I will be briefly explaining what we have achieved in 2021 and what is planned for 2022. I look forward to your attendance. Nomination forms for both the Board and the P&F are available at the office or electronically on request.
I have been thoroughly enjoying the Parent of the Week morning teas. Please make an effort to attend for your child, they really love sharing morning tea with Mum, Dad and carers.
