Monday 10th August

Dear Parents/Caregivers,

This Friday the 14th of August Holy Rosary will be celebrating NAIDOC. The theme this year is ‘Always was, always will be.’ Some of the activities for the day are painting tops and clapping sticks, the shire is coming into run the bouncing castle with an emphasis on hygiene, DAHS will be coming in to talk about Indigenous health projects, bush foods kindly cooked and donated by local people will be available for the students to taste and lots of other fun things.

We ask that your child come to school in clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty or stained and in shorts.

Please note your children will still need to bring recess and lunch as usual.

Also our 3 Year Old kindies won’t miss out, they will get their own NAIDOC day activities on Wednesday!

Thank you,

HRS NAIDOC committee
