Holy Rosary School Derby is a small single-stream primary school with 145 students from 3 Year old Kindy to Year 6 located in the Kimberley region in Derby, which is a small town 2 hours north east of Broome located on the edge of the amazing King Sound. It is the gateway to the wonders of the Kimberley region and a great base to explore the amazing West Kimberley. The school population has a mix of Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal students, with highly skilled Aboriginal Teaching Assistants working in each class. Teaching in the Kimberley is an invaluable experience that will allow you to develop excellent cross-cultural pedagogical skills and feel like you are really making a difference. This position is required to start in Term 4, and is temporary for 1 term, with a strong possibility of becoming ongoing for 2022.
