Anti-Bullying

At Holy Rosary bullying, – repeated, wilful behaviour intending to hurt, threaten, or embarrass an individual or group – is not tolerated. All staff members observing or receiving a report of bullying is required to follow the school policy on bullying, which is in the Behaviour Management Policy HRS.

A child or group found bullying another child may receive consequences such as time out, or detention or suspension for ongoing serious behaviours.  However this may also happen in conjunction with Restorative Justice “No Blame” approaches which research shows are more effective and less likely to exacerbate retaliation towards the victim.

If you feel your child has been bullied at Holy Rosary, please contact the school or send us an email at admin@hrsderby.wa.edu.au
