Dear Parents
Welcome to Holy Rosary Catholic Primary School - Derby. Our School caters for both boys and girls from Three Year Old Kindergarten to Year Six. Holy Rosary is a school concerned with developing the whole person. As well as academic achievement, we also promote the following four values:
- REVERENCE: Showing our love for Jesus
- RESPECT: For ourselves, others and property
- RESILIENCE: Never giving up when things become difficult
- RESPONSIBILITY: For our behaviour and learning
We look forward to working with you hand in hand with the education of your child.

Mission Statement
At Holy Rosary School, we acknowledge God's presence in our everyday lives. In our Parish and School we aim to foster Gospel values. We worship, communicate, educate, nurture and develop as a Catholic Faith Community.
Through our motto "United in Christ," we provide a unique and welcoming environment, which recognises strong parish and school links, educational initiatives and values of Reverence, Respect, Resilience and Responsibility and parental involvement.
We encourage the development of the whole child in the search for their place in the world and their inner happiness.
Living The Vision
The Bishops of Western Australia share their vision for Catholic schools in the Mandate letter. With this letter as its primary source document, and an extensive consultation process, the Catholic community developed the following call to action.
We in Catholic Education seek to create environments that enhance learning, nurture young children and empower them to live the Catholic faith in the spirit of Jesus Christ by:
Developing a hunger for the learning adventure.
Challenging each other to seek truth and justice for all, especially the most vulnerable.
Capturing the joy in the mystery of the created universe.
Embracing the diversity of the Earth and all its people.
Walking together in a spirit of reconciliation and forgiveness.
